UVa dominates in football and basketball today

Well it has been quite some time since I have updated my site. Last semester and Christmas are now behind us. I managed to make it through exam week and a few extra days in dorms to keep track of the 1st years. After moving home I basically just chilled out relaxing, cleaning, and just trying to get some shopping done as well as organization. Jennifer and I hung out a decent amount, which was fun of course. Christmas was very nice with the family all around and such. And now just after that we left for Charlotte, NC for the Continental Tire Bowl. I am in Charlotte now just chilling before I head to bed so we can get up and check out of here. UVa did awesome today; we beat the West Virginia Mountaineers 48-22 and we beat Georgetown in basketball 79-75. What a great day for Virginia. I don’t really know what much else to say, but hey if I think of it I’ll put it up. If you comment or ask, I’ll see what I can do.

Exam week begins, Winter Break is almost here.

Well exams are well underway. It seems like everyone here at UVa is pretty stressed about it. Hoards of students flood the libraries all day and night. Some of which bring sleeping bags, food, other necessities to live in the library for this week. But not me. I decieded that I am not going to stress over any of my exams. I did enough of that over the semester, and even that I didn’t stress much. I am going to try to make this week similar to last week and go out and have fun every night. Exams are what, just 30-50% of my final grade. So what is the big deal? I mean how important is it that I get a 3.3 or a 3.1 semester GPA?
So if you are up for chillin this week let me know. I will be here until Tuesday because of the whole RA deal and I will be done with exams on Friday. So if we haven’t hung out much this semester, let’s get together. Also, I want to try to do more of the other things that go on around here; like some of the concerts at Starr Hill or other places. If there is something going on, I probably don’t know about it, but I’m sure I would love to go. So if you are game, so am I. Lets do it.
I want to go up to NYC this New Years and see what goes on up there. It will be fun for the whole family (or whoever is going). If you are going to be in the city or something maybe we can get together, and if you want to come up with me let me know. Road Trips are fun. I am looking forward to going to the UVa bowl game over break as well, that should be lots of fun, and a family reunion on top of that, nothing better. Go Hoos! Then finally I will be spending a week as Massanutten snowboarding and having tons of fun. I hope that your break is looking as good as mine. Let me know what you are going to be doing or if you want to get together. Lets try this comment thing below…

The culmination of the semester

Well, the end of the semester is here. I got to register for classes today, turns out I am a day late. Apparently I was able to register yesterday, oh well. My classes have been full since last week. I feel bad for not going out much this semester, this is what I seem to do every semester. Wait until the end and realize I should have gone out and done more fun stuff. I am definitely going to work toward that goal next semester; I am going to get rid of some of my involvements. I’ve definitely been way too busy.
I’m also trying to get everything figured out and see what kind of direction my life has for the next semester and year. So you guys will see some changes in how I do things and stuff. I have made some mistakes that I am learning from. The biggest being how I have treated a very close friend and previous girlfriend. I’m sorry Jennifer for lying to you and how things have been. Things can only get better from here on out.
Well as a new resolution, Let’s hang out more, everybody. I’m not going to be a nerd anymore. You tell me I’m being a nerd and I’ll stop. Let’s hang out, have fun, and enjoy the college life. So just IM, call, or stop by and we’ll do something. I don’t discriminate.
